Ayaba Griffin is the Owner, Instructor, and Stylist at Sharpen Your Skillz Continuing Education and Salon, LLC.  She has been a licensed Cosmetology professional in the state of Virginia since 1985.  Ayaba worked as a hairstylist in various hair salons including Hair Cuttery as an assistant salon leader and salon leader for 14 years.

Ayaba transitioned to Cosmetology education in 1995 and worked as a substitute teacher, volunteer, and full-time Cosmetology teacher for nearly 23 years for the public school system in Virginia Beach.  She has been a licensed Cosmetology instructor since 2004.

Ayaba has a passion to help new as well as veteran stylists build their confidence through micro-group instruction and one-on-one continuing education to sharpen their technical skills and expand their overall knowledge of their craft.  She also enjoys cutting, styling, and assisting clients with their natural hair transition and natural hair maintenance.
